Decile Rank and Location Ratings
Decile rank provides a quantitative measure about the position/ranking of a suburb, Local Government Area or Postal Area in comparison with all other suburbs, Local Government Areas or Postal Areas.
The distribution of values for all locations is divided into 100 equal groups.
The lowest 1% of values are given a decile rank of 1; the second-lowest 2% of values are given a decile rank of 2 and so on, up to the highest 100% of values which are given a decile rank of 100.
